Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
- Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery
- Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other supplies
- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure
- Collect and label specimens for laboratory analysis
- Document patient information, surgical procedures, and supplies used
Requirements:
- National Surgical Tech Certificate
- BLS
- COVID Card
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
